Description:
The project involved two separate work packages. Firstly the construction of the schools private car park and secondly all landscaping works needed on the East Gungahlin School grounds.
Scope of Works:
- Construction of car park with a capacity of 183 car spaces with dedicated disabled parking.
- Construction of approximately 960 lineal meters of kerb and gutter and kerb only.
- Laying of 800m² of porous paving and concrete pavement.
- Approximately 550 tonnes of bitumen paving around various parts of school grounds excluding car parks.
- Paved walkways using various coloured concrete mixes totalling 4350m²
- Landscape mulching of over 10,800m²
- Sub soil drainage for landscaped areas totalling 1420 lineal meters.
- Excavation of garden beds to facilitate filling with special ‘structural soil’ over 1000 cubic meters.
- Construction of approximately 680 lineal meters of retaining walls.
