Description:
Kangara Waters Aged Care Facility involved bulk earthworks, pavement construction, detailed excavation, installation of services and construction of retaining walls.
Scope of Works:
- Construction of temporary access tracks and hardstand areas
- Bulk earthworks approximately 53, 000m³
- New pavement construction approximately 5,300m²
- Construction of approximately 3,700m² of exposed aggregate concrete paving.
- Kerb construction of approximately 1,880 lineal metres
- Construction of 1,180 lineal metres of retaining walls
- Construction of one 2440 long x 3000 wide x 600 deep box culvert
- Installation of storm water services, 2,120 lineal metres of pipe, 53 sumps and 25 manholes, 2,500m of downpipe connections to the stormwater system and 1,540 lineal metres of class 400 subsoil drainage.
- Detailed excavation of footings for commencement of building construction of approximately 2,100m3
- Stone facing to retaining walls and features approximately 130 m2
- Installation of fire booster, including provision for fire service to residential care facility and apartments
- Installation of approximately 5000 lineal metres of service conduits for electricity, telecommunications, gas and streetlight
- Installation of sanitary drainage approximately 1000 lineal metres
